There are many guys who might be your friends, they might be nice and kind, and they might give a helping hand when you are in need of some help. They might protect you and they might also care for you to such an extent that you can be yourself when you are with them. In short, one of them can be a good boyfriend for you.
Most of us believe that a good relationship (love) could be started from a good friendship, that’s why we always tend to create good relationship with all of our guy friends, so if someday one of them becomes a boyfriend, our relationship with him will last long and more solid.
But the problem is … after many years of being together with them, none of our guy friends invite us to go out with him personally. And even if we go out for dinner or watch cinema, we always go with the group of guys and not making a romantic date between two persons.
When we are ready to have a lover, our friendship doesn’t go anywhere. If we invite one of them to come out, we are not sure if he will take it as a date or maybe he will only see it as an ordinary dinner. Why do men only consider us as a friend? Why doesn’t the friendship turn into a love or a better relationship?
There are many reasons why friendship can’t change to be a love relationship, some of the reasons are:
a. He is afraid to ruin the friendship:
You’ve been very close to him and often spend time by hanging out with him along with few other guy friends. Your relationship is beautiful and that’s why he’s afraid to change the status of friendship to love. He doesn’t want to make the other guys feel jealous. He doesn’t want to make you feel awkward and be distant from him. As a result, he retains his status as a friend and doesn’t turn into a lover.
b. Physical attraction disappears:
It’s not a secret if men are visual creatures; they are easily aroused by women’s physical beauty. But when you are very close to him as friend, he will not think much about your physical appearance. He accepts you the way you are and even he considers you as one of his best friends. This might not be the case if you get into a closer relationship.
c. There is no challenge anymore:
When a man approaches a woman and is able to take her out for dinner, that would be a proud moment to him because he can get a woman for dating. However when you are very close to man as a friend, going out for dinner or hanging out with him is a casual thing which he doesn’t consider it as a challenge anymore.
d. You don’t know when should change the status:
You’ve known him for years as a friend, you see him every day and feel comfortable with him. You may think that he will always be with you and gives his shoulder to you. However one day when he gets a girlfriend suddenly you start feeling sorry for yourself for being late to propose your feelings to him. When you are interested on one of your friends and want to be his girlfriend, you better tell him the truth. At least you will know about his feeling on you, so you won’t regret whatever happens in the future.
e. He is not excited anymore:
When a man is interested in a woman, he will feel excited every time he meets her. Even when he is alone in his room, he will still imagine her. When you are too close to a man and meet him every day as a friend, the excitement begins to vanish. He will ignore the feeling, and it will be difficult to change the feeling of a friend to be a lover.
So dear friends (especially girls), everything is in your hands.. Your life should be as per your decisions and shouldn’t be controlled or commanded by anyone else...Decide everything with care, take decisions wisely...Enjoy life......Keep rocking...!
